I am playing golf and dancing again, my two favorite activities so all is well with the world. Ann and I are living happily in The Villages and enjoying its many advantages: great live music, lots of social activities, a variety of clubs and of course, golf. A couple of disadvantages of living in TV are the winter crowds and the summer heat, but that’s everywhere in FL. I would prefer to see TV be more environmentally aware like Babcock Ranch, but a “let’s build new developments wherever there is open space” mentality pervades Florida and probably will continue until the water table disappears. Hopefully, I won’t be around to see that happen; nevertheless, I keep asking myself why supposedly intelligent people enthusiastically support the powers that be who make an enormous profit by clear cutting the environment at the expense of our future. To me, this ticking time bomb is and will continue to be the painfull...Expand for more
