David's Story
After a brief 3-year sojourn with the Oblates, I left the seminary in 1972 and then finished my B.A. at LaSalle University in Sec. Ed. I even did my student teaching in Social Studies at North. It was a great experience. Later I completed a M.Ed. in Ed. Psy at Temple U and then I went back to school for Special Education and worked in the Phila. Public schools until 1991; then I came here to Washington, DC and I've been here ever since. I had become bilingual on my own effort and qualified as a bilingual (Spanish/English) Sp. cher and coordinator. Beleive it or not, I just compleetd another M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Washington University here in DC. At my young age of 62 years I'm starting a new career as a clinical mental health counselor starting in August 2014. I recall my years at North Catholic as the beginning of a great adventure, a road that I'm still traveling. I'm partial to music by Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Marco Antonio Solis,and Enrique Iglesias.Over the years I've gotten a few poems published Vive Jesus! Dave
