David McClendon (Humbert):  

I grew up in Roseville and Graduated in 1964. I miss those carefree days as a child growing up and the fun I shared with many friends along the way. My Stepdad worked for the railroad and supporting 5 kids and a wife which was challenging and often we could not afford much. I joined the military at age 19 (USN) and made 3 cruises to Viet Nam serving on the USS Coral Sea (Attack Aircraft Carrier). Shortly after leaving the US Navy with an honorable discharge I returned to American River College to persue a degree in Electronics. Began working for the US Air Force (McClellan AFB) and (Hickam AFB) for the next 41 years.
