David's Story

Life Who keeps moving the finish line? When I was in grade school (Thompson) the finish line was Junior High (Washington). Then while in Washington it was High School (Joliet East)While at Joliet East I decided on a career and how I would start working in that field. In fact I started doing electronics/instrumentation while still at Joliet east (working at Argonne National Lab) While there I also attended Joliet junior College. But the whole time I had a different finish line in my heart but for some reason it seemed only like a dream some life style I wish I had. But actually none of the finish lines that I had crossed where intended or designed to pay the cost of living that dream. In fact a lot of time in my life had been focused on putting me into a system that would teach me and others to make a living but not create a lasting wealth. The sad fact is when most people realize that they are in this system they wonder if social security will be thier for them when they need it. aying bills? That was me for years until realized I was tired of living at work and working to live. If I just described your life then please ask your self these questions. ( READ THEM OUT LOUD ) 1) What am I doing know that’s going to provide me the life style that I really want? (If you said your job then you’re just building the problem we started talking about) 2) Am I willing to set aside 10 hours a week to build a lasting wealth that can be willed to future generations after it has fulfilled my life? I can't everyone but I might be able to help you. What do you think? Workplace Teaching people how to reach the finish line while everyone else is still running the race. Even though there are no shortcuts in life that lead to lasting peace applying and focusing on the right things know will bring you lasting rewards. 1) One of the first things you should do is ask yourself how many people can I help reach the point in life where they want to be. Then what will the effect of them reaching that point be to thier families, friends the world around them.
