David's Story

Life After about a dozen years in the Air Force, and several more in the Washington, DC, suburbs, I've recently moved to Colorado, where my wife is now a professor at a large public university. Though I dropped horns years ago, I've spent much of my free time playing bass in various indiepop and rock bands in the Washington, DC and Denver areas, recording and playing shows but am presently bandless. cess has been a lot of fun. These days, I work as a paralegal in a specialized national niche litigation practice, and spend most of my non-work time playing poker, writing a poker blog, and occasionally writing music reviews for an alternative weekly newspaper. Anyway, it's been at least fifteen years or so since I've passed through Waxahachie, and I missed our 20 year reunion. Who knows, if there's ever a 25th for our class, I may even show up! Hope all has been well for everyone over the years.
