David's Story
After high school and junior college, I joined the army where I attended helicopter flight school at Fort Rucker, Alabama. I flew helicopters several years in the army and then got out and moved back to Camarillo. I joined the Ventura County Sheriff's department working as a patrol officer and then flying helicopte...Expand for more
rs for the sheriff and Ventura County fire as a search and rescue pilot along with dropping water on fires. I retired in 2011 after thirty years. I try to travel around the country and world and enjoy life with my wife Robin whom I've been married to for 39 years. We have two grown children, a son and a daughter.
