David's Story
Classmates, Time flies.
Happy New Year! 2012
Last year, I helped and participated with Cass Tech's Class of 1971 40th Reunion. Now, Class of 1972.
My Update:
After completion of an involuntary recall to active military duty - I retired from the military, serving as the Director, Joint Information Bureau, Task Force - 160, Guantanamo Bay Cuba, after completing tours as Commanding Officer, and Public Affairs Officer for the Chairman, Joint Chief of Staff, The Pentagon, Washington, DC. .
I also retired from the Detroit Public Schools.
Since graduation from Cass Tech, I will list a few accomplishments: I taught college, university and law school. I have been an air personality, new...Expand for more
s and public service director for radio stations Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio and Florida. I was appointed to the court as a court administrator and magistrate and elected elected to the Michigan State legislature.
While pursuing my PhD at Wayne State University, I taugh part-time in Wayne State University 's College of Education and occasionally spoke on the lecture circuit.
I am currently an associate professor at Lane College (HBCU) in Jackson, Tennessee.
