David's Story
Hello everyone,
I live in Green Cove Springs, Florida with my wife Vicky. We have 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren.
I attended Adams Memorial High School from 1968 to 1970 until the new Hoosac Valley High School was opened in the fall of 1970. After leaving HVHS I attended Berkshire Community College and went on to receive a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UMASS and did graduate work at the University of Central Florida. In 1985 I became registered as a Professional Engineer in Florida and a number of other states.
Over the years I have worked as an environmental engineer for several large multinational engineering and contracting firms. Some of the interesting places my work has taken me include Kuwait, Egypt, China, Guatemala, Argentina, Guam, Hawaii, France, Germany, England, and Holland among others. ortunity to experience the culture and national treasures of many different peoples.
Perhaps the most important lesson I learned from my interaction with people from other parts of the world is that all people are essentially the same. Everyone's needs and wants are similar. What separates us in my opinion are the actions of governments and organized religions; without the dictates of these organizations, we could all get along very well.
For the last 15 years Vicky and I have owned and operated an environmental engineering consulting firm that serves utility clients throughout Florida.
We hope to be able to retire in a few years and spend lots of time visiting with our grandchildren and traveling.
