afford afford a house to grow my own food. I got back into the Post Office there & transferred to Fairfield, Ia. in late 83. I started a small sound company out of my house that grew into a music store. In 96 I got disability retirement from the Post Office. I was glad to leave & triedto get more serious with the music store. Business peaked in 99 & has been dropping sinc 9/11. a little better in 04. I am trying to wrap up the store in the next year & get more into music and video which I got interested in while I was in college, equipment was primative then & expense. Now with digital cameras & computers it is relatively inexpensive. While in Iowa I have managed to travel but not for more than a couple of weeks at a time. I've gone up the inside passage to Alaska, a couple of trips to Mexico, and a return to England to visit old band mates. I have also driven all over the US & Canada in the last 10 years. It Has been full and fruitful life with more to come.
