David's Story

I have been a member of the United States Army Reserves for the past 27 years in multiple capacities, most recently as a Battalion Command Sergeant Major. I returned from my deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008. Additionally I have been a life long educator starting my career in education as a Junior High Social Studies teacher and coach in Coffeyville, KS. I moved to Pleasanton, ...Expand for more
KS in 2000 to serve as Junior High/High School Principal. In 2012 I moved to Pratt, KS to serve as the Curriculum Director and Assistant Superintendent for Cunningham Schools. I am married to Carol Cooper and we have 2 children. Our son Matthew is a Senior at Sterling College and our daughter will be a Freshmen at Sterling College next fall. Both are attending through a Golf Scholarship.
