David's Story
Became a lawyer in 1978, moved to Arizona in 1986, returned to VA in 2006 and settled in Staunton. Still practicing Criminal Defense with the Public Defender's Office.Both of our kids live nearby as do our 3 grandchildren. Really like small town life- you could not get me to move back to Northern Virginia for anything. Pretty satisfied with the way things have turned out. o retire next spring. Update 7/16- so much for staying retired. Now 5 grandchildren. Went back to practicing law as an assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Warren County Virginia. First time ever as a prosecutor. Job is part time and should end the end of September. Then get our house in Staunton and live full time at our place on the Albemarle Sound in North Carolina. Update 2/11/17-moved to our place on the Albemarle Sound on February 7. On February 9 while shopping at Home Depot a light pole fell on my car. Must be karma for the school bus incident in 1966.
