David's Story

Life After high school in Holland Patent, I went directly to the US Air Force Academy in Colorado, then to Cornell for 2 years for grad school. The AF sent me to Southern California in 1970 and I have not left. Spent 6 fun years in space R&D then joined Northrop in LA. In 1979 I joined SAIC in LaJolla, CA. ctronics in 1992 and sold that company to Maxwell in 1999. After semi-retirement I started Space Micro Inc. in 2002 and still enjoy working in a small R&D company environment. Live in Poway, CA with my wife Linda and 3 grown kids. And in 2005 we added a grandson! For fun, I still play in a good volleyball league, mostly with kids half our age.
