Life
My Spouse
I met my husband in 1981 through my boss. The two of them were once engaged. (and that is as far as I can take that one!!) We dated for 5 years and married in February of 1986.
My Pets
I have two cats named Dutch and Patches. Dutch is a Blue Persian and is very stuck up. Patches is a Domestic Shorthair and is very loving. I also have a Sheltie named Dakota. We rescued him from an abusive owner. He has a few shortcomings because of his past, but he is shaping up rahter nicely.
My Kids
I have two older step children...Karen is 24 and David is 21. Karen is getting married soon and we are very happy and excited for her. figure out who he is and where he's headed. He has tried college a few times but just can't decide of what he wants. Amanda is a 5th grader and is full of life and humor and she is a real beauty(just like her Mom!!) She loves horses and wants to be either a veternarian or a marine biologist someday. All three children are a joy to be around and have made my life very complete.
My Job
I work for Romeo Schools in their food service program. I love the hours and all the time off we have. Whenever the kids are out of school so am I. I love having the summers off to spend with my kids. My job is sometimes a quite physical but just when I find I'm getting tired, it's time to go home. I work 5 hours a day. I also am a licensed cosmetologist and a ride coordinator for a motorcycle group we belong to.
