Life
After HS I worked for the Columbia Association until 1982. At that time I got certified as a scuba instructor and began work for Dynamo Inc. in College Park as a manager/ scuba instructor. I worked for Dynamo for 9 years and got to travel and dive all over the east coast and the carribean.
In 1991 I opened my own store in Beltsville, MD with my wife Nell. River & Sea Watersports Inc. was a full service scuba center and we also did instruction, trips and sales for whitewater kayaking and sea kayaking. This provided more opportunities for travel and adventure.

s too hectic and depressing, and I figured it was time to get a real job.
We chose Knoxville because it was close to Nell's parents, but not too close, it had great whitewater rivers nearby, and a low cost of living. Neither Nell nor I had a job when we came to Knoxville. We just bought a house and figured we'd find something. Nell is currently working as a data base administrator for a large credit card processing company, and I'm working as the Director of Facilities for a state community college.
We live on 10 acres west of Knoxville with our 3 horses, a donkey, two dogs, and a cat. No kids, although our animals probably count as such.
