Life
Hello to all. I'm happily married to Kathleen, and have two boys. As of April 2006 the boys are 12 (Ryan) and 9 (James). I left UMO in 1979, went to Denver, Colorado, with everything I could carry on a Honda 550, no job, no place to stay, didn't know anybody, and didn't have much money! I met my lovely wife in 1982, we got married in 1987. I moved to Colorado Springs in 1985. I've had my RE license since 1981, got into RE mortgage and RE banking, and have 25 years in RE & RE Finance. We left Colorado in 1990 when all heck broke loose with the S&L's. Worked in Chicago for FDIC for 4 years, then another 5 years with the First National Bank of Chicago. I came back to head up a RE & Construction Banking Dept. at a local bank in C. Springs. tional Bank, in Dec. of 2006 as an SVP and Market President of our Pine Creek Branch in NE C. Springs. Things are gret.
We enjoy mountain biking, skiing (boarding for my 12-yr. old), lots of baseball with the 12-yr. old and soccer for the 9-yr. old. We enjoy hiking in the mountains, I golf (but I'm a hacker!), and have been an avid Bronco fan since 1979. I'm on the Board of Habitat for Humanity and have been very involved in affordable housing since 1994, and I was the 2006 and am the 2007 HBA Parade of Homes Chair. If you ever have a chance to come through Colorado, or come out, you are welcome at our home. Love to see you. I've been out of touch with most of you, but found this was a great opportunity to make some contacts.
The 30th reunion was great, good to see many of you - THANKS to Mark Caron for working so hard to make it happen. Drop me an e-mail if you have time TO SAY HELLO. I'd love to hear from you. Dave
