Hi,
I really don't know where to begin, so the best place I suppose would be at the end of high school. After spending the summer enjoying my freedom from the public school system, I enrolled in Morehead State University in the fall of 1990. I was majoring in Psychology and enjoying my college expierience, mainly by drinking and meeting as many college ladies as possible! After a year and a half, I wore out my welcome at MSU, I returned home and started attending Sinclair Community College, while working at the most wonderful place in the world--Wal-Mart!
Why in the world would I say that? I met my future wife working there. You all knew her as Misty Hurley in high school. The strange thing about our meeting was that we went to the same high school for 3 years and never really talked, but once we started working together, i just knew we were right for each other. ested in a carreer in Law Enforcement. I went into the Marines to become a Military Police officer to give me practical experience in the field to transfer over into a civilian career. After finishing all of my training, I returned to Ohio and was hired shortly thereafter by the Ohio Dept. of Rehabilitation and Corrections as a Corrections Officer. I worked at the Lebanon Correctional Institution for 3 1/2 years. Working in a Maximum Security prison is like working in a world all of its own! On July 14th, 1997 the pride and joy of my life came into this world, my son Zachary. In March of 2000, I left the prison and started my current career: Deputy Sheriff of Greene Co. OH. I currently serve in the Jail Division and on the department's SWAT team and function as a Field Training Officer. Misty and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversery and my son is about to enter first grade. Through the Marine Corps, I've been able to travel to Australia, Norway, Hawaii, and several palces in the U.S. I would love to hear from former classmates, so don't be shy and send me an E mail.
