David's Story
Life
Life over all has been excellent with a few very good friends. I met a person years ago that had a major impact in my life. I always had a positive attitude but had fallen into a rut that I could get out of but needed a nudge. His name was Don Wehbey and as we grew to be very good friends that would do anything in the world for each other. Don is the senior economist for the state of Arizona. We met almost 10 years ago and even though we don't talk or see each other as often as we like when we do it's a real party and good times. The stories we have to tell would make everyone laugh and cry. 7 years ago I started having back problems and have had 2 spine surgeries. The last one 2 years ago was to fuse the L5-S1 vertebra together. That should take care of it for now. I have been living in Gilbert Arizona for the last 6 years. Had a house built there in 2000. Here it is November 2006, I'll be leaving home this week to begin my new career with Sonicwall Inc. I will spend 6 to 9 months in Sunnyvale California and return to work from home. I'll also be going to Holland, UK, and India to train others later.

Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday that I was leaving High School.
Since then I spent 15 years in Manufacturing and IT with a Window and Door manufacturer in Indianapolis, Indiana and in Tempe, Arizona. Then a few years ago an opportunity came to work with Sonicwall, Inc. Sonicwall makes and supports Unified Threat Management appliances for corporations all over the world. So I get to speak to and work with a very diverse realm of individuals all over the world. You would be very surprised to how all of them are very much like the rest of us.
I've been in California for a few months working. I now work for Sonicwall, Inc. I'll be doing much international traveling over the next year. It's been a rather busy time lately.
I'm currently in India working for the last 6 weeks. It's nice to visit and see but I wouldn't want to live here. Most of the country is vegitarian, there's only so much one can stand in 6 weeks. THere are alot of great little places to shop and have found some items that would normally be very expensive in the US. One item cost me $33.00 but would have been $300.00 in the US..
