David's Story
Life
Hi,
Glad you could join me for a visit :-)
I've been wonder how you have been doing.... How the heck are ya? I am on facebook with rest of our class... Come on over! It's free.
Yes, I am still in Rockford living and working for a living... As I will be for the next 20 more years. I am an Automation Designer. I taught SolidWorks CAD at Rock Valley College a couple years.
I've been married since 1979, to my first wife. We adopted two infant children in separate adoptions 3-1/2 years apart, after 14 years of marriage...(Like 17 years ago now) We were blessed twice to be parents of some wonderful boys. (Dean Schulter's dad did our adoptions.) Now these babies are 17 and 14 years old. Dan was the heavy weight wrestler for Rockford Lutheran. He received honorable memtion-all conference for wrestling and got 4th in the reginals.
What do I do when I'm not playing basketball? I have bass boat and fish mostly in Wisconsin or on the Mississippi River for Bass, Northern, Walleye and my favorite: Crappies. We house boated on the Mississippi River from 1977 until 1995 by the town of Sabula, IA. I have a Fresh Water Fishin...Expand for more
g Hall of Fame line class record in Hayward Wisconsin and a bunch of dead fish hanging on my walls. I shoot trap and average 42.1, but never had a score below 40. We vacation in St. Germain WS in the summer. Before we adopted children, I was a "Big Brother" to several kids, and coached basketball at Harlem Community Center with my wife as the assistant coach and walked away with 3-first places and 3-coach of the years. I have photographically shot many weddings and really like digital photography.
Dan, my oldest is a wrestler/football player/disc-shot putter....
Andy, is 6ft 1-1/2 tall in 9th grade and I hope some day he wants to shoot baskets with me.
I almost died 3-times from illnesses. 1) I am adrenial insuffient and I take cortisone everyday of my life. An Adrenial crisis almsot got me the first time.
2) I had sinus surgery that went septic...Spiking 106
degree fever with convulsions.. That was good for a week in the hospital.
3) An allergic reaction to an antibodic was the last time in the hospital... I had a life threathening reaction..and all my skin peeled as did my throat and tongue...sweet!
