David's Story
Life
I worked at University of Virginia (UVA) my entire professional life, rising through the ranks within the central Finance office there. Was the University Comptroller for four years (2013-2016). Scaling back and work just part-time since July 2019, but still at UVA, with an eye on full retirement in 2023. Have lived in Charlottesville, Virginia since graduating from Old Dominion University in 1980. Remarried in May, 2006, to a beautiful and warm-hearted woman. Have four grown children, all married now, and 5 grandchildren.

he SF Bay area with her husband and two children (6 and 4), is a doctor at the UCSF Medical Center;
Sydelle (b 1985), lives in Jersey City with her husband and 4 year old daughter; she has her own interior design/staging business
Robert (b 1988), recently married, lives in Deal, NJ with his wife, works for a clinical research organization; they had a son in Sep-2022
Patrick, (b 1992), his wife and 1.5 year old son moved back to Charlottesville in 2021 and works for the UVA athletic department, overseeing media relations for the men's lacrosse and women's volleyball teams
