David's Story
Life
those of you who remember me may recall i moved from birmingham, AL, to Leesburg, Florida just prior to our senior year, so didn't actually graduate with my class at Berry. I graduated from Leesburg High School where i played football and was captain of the wrestling team. i went to the Univ. of Fla. graduated in 1981, taught and coached wrestling for a couple of years at Leesburg. I married a leesburg girl, Tonnie, in 1982, she came with a 5 year old boy, Jeremy. After a couple of sales jobs, i went to work for Merrel Dow Pharmaceuticals, moved to Prattville, AL in 1985. My daughter was born in 1986...Expand for more
. She is 17 now, stepson is 25 and keeps in touch. a corporate merger led to a move to Valdosta, GA, in 1990. Tonnie and i divorced in 1996. In 1997 i switched to another drug company, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Inc. I have been with them for 5 years. My ex-wife passed away in 1999, so i'm raising my daughter by myself. Valdosta is a great place to raise kids, lots of churchs, good schools, and a great youth sports program, not to mention the winningest high school football team in the country.
