Hello there!
What have I been up to, you ask? Well, it took me 14 years to earn my BA in Mass Communications from Grand View College in Des Moines (I had gone to Scott Community College and got my AA in English right out of West and then tried my hand at the University of Iowa, but that didn't work). I stayed true to my love of libraries and worked at St. Ambrose University of 4 1/2 years, but then took a retail management job in Des Moines. Hated it!! awned on me that I was supposed to work in libraries forever)! I then was hired at Grand View College in Des Moines (which offered free tuition for staff) and finished my degree in 2002. In April 2003, I moved to Omaha, NE and started working at Creighton University. I was a Reference Specialist and did outreach and marketing for the Reinert-Alumni Library. In December 2007, I moved to Tucson, Arizona. I am now working as a Library Information Associate at the University of Arizona Libraries. I live with my partner of 6 years, Tom, and our "Danger Kitty" Pippin.
