David is from Shreveport, Louisiana. He is married with Joy Whiddon Cales. His schools include Southwood High School. He later attended Tool & Die thru AT&T for 13 years. (Laid off after 17 years ago and moved to Indiana for job with Navistar, International Trucking plant.).
