David's Story
Life
After graduating from North Davidson, I moved to Johnson City, TN. I attended Northeast State Community College and graduated in 1986 with an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology. I then attended East Tennessee State University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Military Science. I enlisted in the Army while in college and went on to become a commissioned officer after completing the R.O.T.C. program. ter Desert Storm, I began a law enforcement career with the Washington County, TN Sheriff's Department where I was employed until 1992. I then went to work for the Tri-City Regional Airport Police Department until 1993. I married in 1994 and moved to Maryville, TN where I went to work for the Alcoa, TN Police Department. I currently hold the rank of Lieutenant. I am a shift commander, patrol division. I have been married for 12 years and currently have no children. My wife is a Detective Sergeant for the Blount County, TN Sheriff's Department. I will be attending the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA starting in July, 2006.
