David's Story

After graduation I drag raced at Lions and Colton drag strips. Married in 1966. Started a family. Went to Santa Ana Commumity College. I Worked for Schwinn Bicycle Co. I Bought a Schwinn Bicycle Store in 1978. Developed into four stores (Dave's Bicycles Inc.) Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach & Tustin. Retired in ...Expand for more
1998. I had Triple by-pass heart surgery in 1999. And a heart transpant in 2003 (23 year old heart). My wife and I have five grand children. I restored a 1930 Ford Model A & a 1979 VW convertible. I attend alot of car shows and I'm president of the Geezers Car Club. I'm a trustee at the Garden Grove Elks Lodge # 1952.
