David's Story
Hi, I lived in GP and worked at Josephine County Title from 1972 until 1998. Then moved, to Bend where I was manager of First American Title, Deschutes County until I retired in Jan 2007. After 4 years of building the farm, and marrying Christy Hartman, a 1971 graduate from Sweet Home, Oregon, I went back into the Title business four days a week for Western Title in Bend who just last week was purchased by Fidelity National. We live on our 40 acre farm, we harvest 70 - 100 tons of hay a year and have 4 horses, 5 cattle, 2 dogs and 1 barn cat. We ride a bit, fish the Deschutes and Crooked rivers, and dust...Expand for more
off the golf clubs a few times a year, Christy competes at Cowboy mounted shooting and actually was the 2006 World Champion at her level. I do not give her too much crap! Life has been great, the ups and downs have made it full and faith in Jesus has made it whole. On the farm we also run a horse hotel, for transporters and competitors, and we have an Air BNB spot as well. We've hosted people from 9 countries and all over the US and have standing invites to visit most of the world, no time yet to take advantage of the invites, but it's on the proverbial (never ending) list. Hope you are doing well. David
