David's Story

Let's see. After high school I worked at the shipyard until 1980. Left there, went to work for GTE in Norfolk, VA until 1992. Moved to Florence for 18 months with GTE then back to Charleston for 2 years. In '95 moved to Houston, TX, still with GTE (now Verizon Wireless)and have been here ever since. Got divorced...Expand for more
in '96, got custody and raised both kids. Recently retired from Verizon Wireless and am just enjoying the time off. I love to travel and have a few "trips of a lifetime" planned in the next year to go deep sea fishing and diving. May go back to work sometime in the future but not anxious to go back at this point.
