David's Story
I was suppose to graduate in 1967 and truthfully got into little trouble so I missed that. Worked for a while in construction and then Milton Bradleys until I joined the Navy in 1969. f Review to get a pin and a (SW) designation. After retiring moved back to Springfield working at the old Grossman's Distibution Center on Cottage Street. In 1992 moved to Jacksonville, Fl. Living in Jacksonville I can ride my bike almost yeard round. Winter here is dropping down to 4o degrees during the day. As nice as the weather is her I am contemplating a move back to Springfield. It seemed in the Navy I was always going back every other set of orders. As someone who has travelled extensively in the US and overseas Springfield is still my home. My youngest son is about to have his third child which is my 13th grandchild. Life is pretty good now it just took awhile to get there. I have put my trust and future back in to God's hands for help and guidance. Good luck and my God Bless to all who read this.
