David's Story
Life
After MHS, I went to SCSU and graduated in 1973. I was hired at MHS to teach driver ed in the Fall of 1973. I received my masters at UCONN in 1978 and joined the guidance dept in 1980. In 1984, I became the director of guidance. In 2004, I switched positions to become the Director of Athletics, causing me to give up my coaching position.
In 1975 I started the MHS girls swim team, and did so for 31 years. We have had winning seasons in 30 of the 31 years. We have won 13 league titles, had 10 all state...Expand for more
swimmers, and had 4 state champs.
In 1977 I married a 1973 grad, Renee Tournaud. In 1981 my son Matthew was born. He graduated from ECSU in 2004, and on Christmas Day 2003, my granddaughter, Nina Renee was born.
I love to travel, and in 1997 I went to Japan, in 1998 it was Thailand, in 2000, China, adn in 2005 Vietnam and Cambodia. I hope to travel more in Asia in the future, as I find it incredibly different and interesting.
I look forward to seeing classmates at our 40th reunion next year. Dave Frost
