David's Story
I have lived in San Bernardino County since 1986.
My wife Sheila and I have been married since 1994 and live on a 1 acre property with dogs, cats and horses.
I am currently a Fire Battalion Chief in Redlands, CA and I have been with the department since 1990.
Sheila and I both responded with FEMA Riverside Task Force 6 to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. At the time we...Expand for more
both worked Urban Search & Rescue Dogs for FEMA. We spent 10 days searching the site for victims of the attacks.
I took up running a few years ago and completed 2 marathons, 1 half marathon and a 5K in 2007. In June I will be running the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon for the 2nd time. It's really a fun race and several of the firefighters from work will be running with me this year.
