I have been married to my bride, Tina for shortest 20 years this coming August. I have four children. For the majority of my youth I lived with my father throughout the western half of the United States, staying the longest in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Portland, Oregon. I learned starting from the age of 7 to become a skilled machinist from working in my father's machine shop before graduating from David Douglass High School in 1974. Entering the US Air Force directly after high school, I was trained at Biloxi, Mississippi in Avionic Inertial Navigation, Doppler and Search Radar, stationed at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California at the close of the Vietnam Conflict. I left Active Duty to join the Oregon Air National Guard with the 142 Fighter Interceptor Group after Mr. Carter became President and the way the military was being managed changed. After my active duty with the Air Force, I worked in the steel rolling mill and glass bottle industries as a machinist along with taking over the management of my father's machine shop for a period of time.
