David's Story
Hi everyone
Well here goes. After graduating i moved to Dillon Co. to work in construction.
1961 joined the Navy. Spent 8 years as a nuclear reactor operator and technician in the nuclear submarine service.
1969 Exited the Navy in Jan. Married my current wife in Feb 1969. We were married in Pacifica Ca.
Moved to Denver imediately. No nuclear reactors in Co. so I opened a service station and auto repair shop.
1973 We were expecting our Daughter so we moved to Grand Junction, Co. where we still live. We owned and operated auto rep...Expand for more
air businesses until Sept.2005 when we sold out and I retired. My wife Janet went to work for another auto repair company here (she is a bit younger than I).
Our Daughter Denise was born oct. 1973. She is very atheletic and has 1 state championship in soft ball and 2 state championships in discus throw (set state records both years).
I love bass fishing and Golf. Past president of Bass club, business organizations, home owners asso. Board member on little league. Coach little league girls softball for 7 yrs.
