David's Story

I attended Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA and graduated in 1974. I then attended De Anza College in Cupertino, CA where I received my AA Degree. I worked as a mechanical design engineer at Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto, CA, Apple Computer in Cupertino, CA and Ampex Corporation in Redwood City, CA. e two children, Brittany Elaine Jones and Joseph Pierce Jones (now both are adults and in their own careers, nursing & firefighting). I reside in Horse Creek, Siskiyou County, CA along the Klamath River. I have written a historic research book, "US Silent Service Dolphins & Combat Insignia, 1924-1945". A second book, "Five War Patrols" is waiting for publication. I now retired in 2007.
