David's Story
Let's see.... I'm sitting in a room in Statesville NC. It's June, and it's a nice day outside. I remember reading something about "don't sweat the details". Seems like it's all been details... Grew two kids in there somewhere.. one of each, girl first. She's on her own now in Charlotte... well... she has a cat... My son's just out of High School and heading for NTI... That's the RPI of NC... Wants to work on Nissans... Let's see... I did four years at Fairfield U....Expand for more
.. got a degree & everything... My brother decided to be an electrician... didn't go to college. I went to work for a bank! He's a millionaire... me... not... Got tired of the CT BS (Did they ever finish working on I-95?) and moved to Roanoke VA in the 80's... then Columbus GA in the 90's... then Statesville NC in the 00's... probably Florida in the 10's... a piece of a lyric has followed me... and I'm not even a "Dead" fan.... "What a long strange trip it's been..."
