I've had the occasional odd job, but for the most part I have been in construction for close to 10 yrs. I've moved up the todem pole from goffer (goffer this, goffer that) to foreman and partner in my fathers company, though it is just the 2 of us. f our sub-contractors that work for us. The job is very demanding, sometimes working a month straight w/ no days off so we can meet certain deadlines. But the job is very rewarding in the end. I can stand back and say that I have built a 10,000 sq, foot house and know that my name means something to the people that purchased it.
