Let's see... I've been senior editor of Linux Journal since 1996, and for the last four years have been a fellow with the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where I run ProjectVRM and am working on a book due out early in 2012. al home is in Santa Barbara, we've been hanging in Cambridge, Mass as well. Our fourteen-year-old son is finishing junior high in Lexington, Mass, and will probably go off to prep school somewhere next year. (He's a much better student than his old man was.) My wife and I have three other kids in their late 30s and early 40s, and two grandchildren as well. Before Santa Barbara we lived in Silicon Valley for many years. Before that it was North Carolina and New Jersey.
