David's Story
Life
After leaving WUHS, I went on to earn BA and MS degrees at Humboldt State University and a PHD (in psychology) from Kent State University. For the past 30 years, I have been a psychology research professor at the University of Georgia. Besides teaching courses and writing research articles, I got into writing books (the irony being that my publisher is back home, across the bay in Monterey).

lots of wildlife and NOT MUCH TRAFFIC. My yankee friends tell me that I've picked up a southern accent, although I certainly can't hear it. I thought that I would be at UGA for a year or two when I landed here in 1973 and liked it so much that I stayed.
Among my passions are hiking, whitewater rafting, taking trips in my RV (to good trout waters) and keeping up with my sports teams
(the DAWGS, Atlanta Braves, etc.) Plans are to stay in Georgia when I retire in 4 or 5 years but to travel all over this globe and to have as much fun as possible until the money runs out.
