David's Story
Life
After receiving a degree in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis and working at McDonnell Douglas for a few years I went for a job interview in Phoenix AZ. I accepted the job and have been here since 1984. After I retired from engineering I opened an auto parts store which I ran for 8.5 years. In 1995 I decided I didn't like to get greasy and got into real estate sales and investing and plan to stay in this field at least until my next retirement! What a long, strange trip it's been.
College
Sex, drugs, Grateful Dead, that about sums it up!

McDonnell Douglas I was involved in designing software for the guidance and control system of the Tomahawk Anti Ship Missile. Upon leaving Mac, I moved to Phoenix to work for GTE Communication Systems on their World Wide Military Command and Control System. I left GTE after a few years and opened Dave's Auto Parts, Inc. a Big A auto parts store. This adventure lasted for about 8.5 years at which time I entered the world of real estate. I am currently an active residential realtor and avid investor. I am in the process of purchasing another franchise operation to diversify my portfolio!
