David's Story

Life My career in bioinformatics has been very successful, and I am excited about the direction that other aspects of my life are going. I have dated several people for different periods, and yet none of them have worked out in the long run. I was a Southern Baptist in high school, but I left the church during college and stayed away from religion entirely for the next decade. Since 2003, I have been a Unitarian Universalist, and I've found that this is a church I can both respect and consider home. n. I won't soon forget our epic games of spades or the buzz of math, science, or scholar bowl tournaments! In college, I got a huge kick out of the movies my dorm made. Anyone watching public access TV in Fayetteville has a shot at seeing our work. 8) I enjoyed my time in student government at Washington, although it dispelled my belief that I'm destined to be a nice guy. Workplace I'm an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University Medical School. I began building my group at the Mass Spectrometry Research Center in 2005, and I received my first federal grant funding in 2006.
