David's Story

Life Hello dear survivors of that 7th ring of hell, the Academy. I must congratulate you for your bravery in enquiring about survivors of our ordeal at our shared school. I'm sure most of whom I know and those who I have not acquainted myself will agree that in some sense we were shortchanged by the Academy and their gurus of contempt. Although named an Academy, the sprit of Plato or Aristotle would have visited the vomitorium out of disgust at the inane decrepidity of Loma Linda's "Academics." But I guess I should not be surprised. The "Academy" has at least 3 coatings of opaqueness: the first is its Christianity, the biggest sham that insists we practice a Middle-Age superstition for all eternity. The second level, Adventism, took Christ-Insanity to new levels of psycho-sexual repression unseen since the Victorian era! Finally, is it just me, or did we receive a substandard education from those who thought they were God's gift to the world with very few exceptions? I, of course, speak of the the venereal disease of Adventist-Christian fanaticism, our wonderful draconian excuses of glorified baby-sitters, our teachers! Needless to s...Expand for more
ay I was not satisfied with my experience as evidenced from my split infinitives. After I escaped to Redlands High in 1995 I salvaged a decent education. Attended UCR and received my BA in Philosophy. Got my MA in Philosophy and Religion from San Francisco State University. Currently I am working on my PhD in Philosophy and a PsyD in Academic Social Psychology. Still single, wouldn't mind having a girlfriend, but for all you net surfers who married and subsequently divorced your high school sweethearts or Adventist-college forbidden flings, be forewarned, I have no cash for your services! Hahahaha! So maybe that bowling ball of a religion teacher of ours was right, no Christian (i.e. Adventist) woman will respect a man with a liberal arts degree. Hey its not like LLA provided any scientific background which I could apply for an engineering degree! Alas, I should not scapegoat, for I did learn enough to trust Christians or Adventists only as far as I can throw them. Other than that, thanks for reading, and ladies, leave the EGW at home, and I promise to try to spot you a 20, but don't count on it! College See my Life Biography
