ers. One in Elgin, and the other in Scottsdale, AZ. Have four grandchldren (3 girls and 1 boy).
For the past 10 years, since retiring, I've worked parttime at the Highlands Golf Course in Elgin and spent a lot of time with my wife, kids and grandkids. Over the years I’ve had several major health issues. In 1979 I had 9 ft of intestines removed. I had strokes in 2003 and 2017. In 2018 I went on dialysis for kidney failure, but was fortunate enough to find a wonderful who donated one of their kidneys to me.. We now consider my donor part of the family. I’ve also had both knees replaced, one in 2010, the other in 2021. But Through the grace of God, Is have to say that life is good.
