Well, I always wanted to be retired by 40... be careful what you ask for.
After years of heartburn, I developed what would have become cancer of the esophegus, so they went in and removed it, but botched the epidural. So when they woke me after the surgery I had no pain medication and I thrashed on the table until I tore loose where they had sewn me together. They discovered it three days later when my lungs collapsed, because everything I had swallowed had gone into the chest cavity.

be out of the hospital in a week, and back to woprk by thanksgiving . I woke up from the 1st coma, the day before thanksgiving. (and still no president) my young wife was 71/2 months pregnant with our 1st son... 3 weeks later, they tried again, I woke from that coma 2 days before christmas (AND STILL NO PRESIDENT). Waking from a coma is pretty confusing, this did not make it easier!!
7 months, 8 surgeries, 2 comas, and countless "procedures" later, i am missing part of my collarbone, one side of me is shorter than the other, my esophegus is made from my forearm, and i get to be a stay home dad
