David's Story
Life
Jr high and High school in southern Cal. Primary focus back then was surfing.
College at Montana state in Bozeman Montana. Lived 3 years in the SAE Frat. Did alot of skiing those years.
After college came to Seattle where I met my wife. I opened my own engineering business in 1988 and then moved it over to Aberdeen on the WA coast in 1994.
My wife and I currently live on a farm in the North River Vally with the river boarding our property. We have three children. My business employees 9 technical people. (earthworkservices.com)Out side of work and family Im a very focused surfer. I log in around 150-200 seasions a year at Westport, the local big wave surf spot.
I feel like I have been lucky in life. I have experienced alot of love and friendships over the years, and am in the kind of work and living environment I always dreamed I would get to live out my life in. And at age 45, I still get to paddel out on the big wave days

College
College, best and worst years of my life. The SAE Fraturnity....looking back I cant believe I did that one. Met and lived with alot of great people in college...and a few world class assholes at the SAE house. Over all though college was a great way to blow a mans late teens and early 20's. Work 80 hour weeks all summer in construction so that I could play for 9 months in Bozeman. The dating, the skiing, THE PARTYING!!!! A life time of experience cramed into a few years. Some times I find my self thinking about and missing some of those people.
Workplace
work...did it all growing up. delivered news papers, mowed lawns, worked in resteraunts, sold shoes ina womens shoe store. Sold vaccums doorr to door. Construction and Civil Engineering though was always my favorit work. Settled into it in my early 20's and never let go of it. I have been doing the same thing now for about 20 years. earthworkservices.com
