Dawn's Story
I graduated from Roosevelt, but attended Bear Creek HS in Lakewood CO, for half of my HS years, so I can barely remember some names on this site. I graduated UT Austin (Education) & taught Special Ed for a number of years in TX & CO. Now I live in WA state. My profile picture is from the beach at Kalaloch. My term ends in 2011 and I will run for re-election because I believe public education in America desperately needs passionate, diligent leadership dedicated to improvement. While at Roosevelt, I was in choir & pep squad. Our Sr year I came as Peter Pan for dress up day. I wore a real sword. Try to do THAT these days.
