Dawn's Story
My story, hmmmm. Okay, here's a quick rundown.
Two year degree from Florida Tech, because I couldn't bear the thought of four more years of school
Two years part-time photog at the New Jersey Herald
Twenty-one years as a photog for the Daily Record
Laid off in 2011
Started my own photography business
In between all that?
Camping and hiking in Tanzania
Missions to Haiti, South Africa and the Gulf Coast following Katrina
Storm chasing in the midwest--You may have seen me on 48 Hours
Visited 33 states
Jumped out of an airplane
Began pursuing my true...Expand for more
passion--nature and wildlife photography
Never got married 'cause..............well...............having too much fun.
My adventures as a photojournalist could fill a book, so maybe I'll write a book ; ) I've covered everything from the 1995 Stanley Cup playoffs to the 2004 Republican National Convention in NYC. My favorite assignment was a caving expedition in New York State, where they shoved me down a gopher hole, and we wandered around 250 feet below the surface.
Currently, I'm planning a 2nd trip to Yellowstone and a 2nd trip to Alaska.
