Dawn's Story
Life
Since leaving Camp Lejuene for Quantico, VA I was promoted to Sgt and then eas'd(end of active service) in Nov. 00. I had another daughter (named Autumn Bernidette on 4/1/00). I worked in the civil svc as a GS6 admin assistant to the Deputy Director of the civilian personel operation center on Fort Belvior. We got RIf'ed (Reduction In Force) so I decieded to stay home with my kids, in Oct 02 I had another baby this time a boy (named James Joseph II 10/21/02). I am currently taking classes at UMUC online and work for an optomitrist. We still live in VA but are trying to move back to NC or anywhere but here. In Feb of 2006 my family and I moved to Coleville, CA. My family and I have just recently moved out of CA and bought a home in NV, where we should be for the next few years unless so...Expand for more
mething comes up. Since the last time I updated this I have gotten another job, I now work at the Boys & Girls Club in Yerington, NV. It's a great job, I am the supervisor and coordinator for all of the activities that go on in the Gym. My kids are members so I get to see them all day.(06/09/07)
My new entry is being written from Alaska! My family and I moved here in January of 2009. I am currently working for the school district here as a Preshcool Special Education Teachers assistant. I am half way through my Bachelor's in English and will hopefully be working towards my teaching cert soon. My kids are doing great in school, all three of them are in the top of their class, and my oldest daughter is being inducted into the National Junior Honor society at the end of the month. (3/23/10)
