Dawn's Story
I moved to Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada from Marin County, California, in 1982. Hard to believe that was almost 40 years ago! A city on the north shore of Lake Superior, north of Duluth, Minnesota, it has gone through many changes over the years, and now has many more great restaurants with diverse menus, live music venues, cultural and art now flourishes. pite the weather - skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, it is quite beautiful. I married a guy in 2008 who I met at Quetico Provincial Park, who is from San Mateo, CA. He was a librarian and is a musician. I was a nurse and currently play my little ukulele. Music helps keeps the body and soul happier, especially during the pandemic. I loved my job but also appreciate retirement. I have had many dogs and cats over the years and support animal rights, peace, kindness and thoughtfulness.
