Life
Greetings h.s. classmates!
I hope you've enjoyed happy and successful lives and weathered the challenges with grace and good humor.
I am one of those who thought she'd never move away from the DeKalb area. I bet most of you figured I'd marry young, have 6 kids, and stay home. Well, I didn't.
I finished a b.s. degree in journalism in 1984, got married in 1985, and pursued a very successful journalism career for 13 years. I lived in several cities in Illinois including Rockford, Moline, and Peoria. I divorced in 1997 and eventually relocated to Grand Rapids, MI when I remarried. No kids. I acquired a masters degree in 2004 and recently relocated to NW Indiana.

or at Christianity Today International in Carol Stream, IL.
We are trained Steven Ministers and Marriage Saver counselors with our church. Our next project is to launch a Christian marriage ministry for those who are divorced and want to remarry. We hope to make a difference to hundreds of other couples who have known the pain of divorce but remain hopeful of a happy future marriage. We are certainly blessed to know this joy.
College
I completed an Associates Degree in Agriculture at Kishwaukee College before transferring to NIU in the fall of 1981. I majored in journalism (print) and minored in Chemistry. I worked various journalism freelance jobs throughout college, including a stint at The Northern Star, The Sycamore News, and landed my first job 6 weeks before graduation with the Illinois Agri-News.
