Dawn Maggard:  

Tony & I have been married since 1987.... more than 21 years now. Some call us lucky, some call us stubborn, and just about everyone calls us crazy. After coming back to Chicago from Tennessee in 1988, Tony and I kept moving a city-at-a-time-west...Northlake, Bensenville, Wood Dale, Itasca, and then out to Bartlett. I'm about 25 minutes from my Dad's house. We have two awesome kids--two boys. Chris is in college now and Stephen is a Junior at BHS. Chris has a pretty-serious thing with a great girl, Nina. Chris also worked for Tony, so he's very knowledgeable about building and remodeling. He is headed into the kitchen & bath design area as a career path. No doubt, Chris is smart and talented, but his personality is one-of-a -kind. He's laid back, easy to get along with, and fun-loving. Now, Stephen is very intellegent--he takes honors classes and has a 3.78 GPA. Stephen's favorite pastime is working on cars or his truck (Red Pick-Up--sound familiar to anyone?). Stephen is more serious than Chris, but Stephen is also the clown of the family. He does imitations of Adam Sandler, Mrs. Doubtfire, Rob Deniro, etc. He works for Tony, too, and is really a hard-worker. Ican see he and Tony working together a long time. Tony's runs his own Contracting company and I gotta admit, he is talented. There is NOTHING that Tony can't fix or build! I'm really proud of his success. He has taught the boys so much--they'll never know how valuable the time Tony' s spent with them will benefit them in the future. I was blessed to be home with the boys when they were young up until Stephen went to school. Tony and I worked opposite shifts so that we could be with them. Once both boys were in elementary school, Tony's transition to doing contracting work full-time and our desire to have family dinners together prompted us to both work the day shifts.
