Dawn's Story
I can't believe we have been out of high school for twenty-one years now! It is hard to believe. What have I been up to? I'll give you the short version...
I graduated from Huntington University with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management in 1997.
I worked as a drug / alcohol counselor for about 8 years. I married in 2003, travelled a lot, and then we settled down to become foster parents. We adopted a baby in 2006, and he made 6 for us!
In the meantime, I have been a probation officer also for the past 8 years and just became a supervisor for Community Corrections here in Grant County. I am the Program Supervisor for our new Reentry Court and Day Reporting Center working with high ris...Expand for more
k felons in our community. It is interesting work and I love my job!
I am working toward my Masters degree in Science Management and I graduate in February 2009.
My oldest graduates from high school next year also, and she will be going off to IU to study law. All of the kids are involved in sports except for the baby, and we are going here and there constantly to sporting events, dance recitals, parent teacher conferences, you can imagine! We like to stay active and for the kids to be involved in activities.
I would love to hear from you and how you are doing since 1987. =) I look forward to having a reunion sometime in the near future. I wish we had a 20 year reunion. Maybe a 25 year?? =)
