Dawn's Story
A few of you may remember me. I was just too quiet for my own good. I finally outgrew some of that....
Lived in the Whitewater area a few years. Moved to Phoenix, AZ where I worked in the school system 25 years. Moved up to Prescott Valley to get away from the Phoenix heat. Married Kevin and drove over the road a few years so we could see the country. We had 10 acres North of Prescott Valley, 6 miles off the highway and had to go 5 miles to our mailbox... We were on a dirt road with no electric for 3 years. Now that was fun... seriously, it was fun. It sure was nice and quiet. Eight years later, August of 02, we moved to Wisconsin because of Kevin's lung problem. The doc gave him 15 months to live if he stayed in the desert. (By the way, Kevin's lung problem began to clear up once we moved to Wisconsin.) Moved to Jefferson, Wisconsin on the Crawfish River October of 2009 and love it.
I/we have 2 granddaughters, one in Phoenix who has 3 children. The other is in Guam with two little girls. My/our grandson just graduated from LaCrosse. Kevin has a son and 2 grandsons in Louisville, and a daughter in California.
All 3 of my children have moved back here to Wisconsin too. Love it!!!!!!
Update: Life sure can change in a flash. It's been almost 10 years since I posted this. I am now a widow and don't like it. Things change and we do our best to work through it. Take care!

Guess I'll stay retired..........
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel nothing and add on a boat house for a "party boat". My dream home would be right here.
Not enough room to put all that information in here.........
If I won $100 million, I'd give shares of it to all 5 kids, then spend the rest on a lake house, food pantry and vehicle for Kevin.
My best friend would tell you I'm fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet.
Happy in a pair of blue jeans.......... most of the time....
I share my home with Kevin and our new Teddy Bear puppy Cynnimin
I just keep Kevin on the mantel........
In 10 years, I hope to be still breathing. I'm going to get there by exercise.
My oldest friend was Dorothy (who passed away 3 weeks ago). We met through a distant friend when I was 16 and had a lot of fun.
My first job (other than baby sitting) was at JoDee's Drive In, in New Berlin where I got paid Hmmmm to don't remember. What I remember most about it is I had fun being a car hop.
Childhood memory - hmmmm - falling down 2 flights of stairs, getting burned, or just making it through those years...... Lol. I remember waving at the Army trucks driving by when we lived in the Dells when I was only in 2nd grade. Yes, I still like trucks.........
Traveling with my parents or with my grand parents. A lot of simple fun things.
